The Blackwood Business Network (Blackwood and District Chamber of Commerce Inc) was established in the 1970's to support local businesses in the Blackwood district.
The district covers the suburbs of Blackwood, Belair, Coromandel Valley, Glenalta, Hawthorndene, Craigburn Farm, Eden Hiills and Belleview Heights.
The population of the hills district (known as the Mitcham Hills) is around 63,000.

Blackwood Roundabout
$3.5 million has been approved to upgrade the Blackwood Roundabout and will begin in early 2018. DPTI are inviting the community and stakehholders to a series of project information sessions to provide input into the draft concept plan. Development of an Aldi store in Blackwood at 180-200 Main Road, is currently before the State Commission Assessment Panel (SCAP). The applicant is Nielsen Architects. The application can be viewed on the SA Planning Commission Website Here. It can also be viewed at the SCAP L5, 50 Flinders St, Adelaide, or at the Mitcham Council up until 9th October 2017. UPDATE: The BBN subimtted an application to present at the SCAP meeting. We hope this will be granted, at which time we will present the survey results. We will keep you updated.
